We spent the weekend at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort near Bastrop with Christa's family. We had a great time hiking through the McKinney Roughs State Park which joins the property along the river paths and playing in the pool and lazy river. We made a run to Cabelas during the heat of the day.

We headed for the ranch Sunday afternoon and had dinner with Bill and Rhetta and their family and the Shultzes. We had a good time and the kids had a great water balloon fight. On July 4th we were pretty lazy. We went out to the Greer cemetary and checked on the progress of the new gate. Then came home and ate some ribs and then headed up to the theatre to watch a movie (and for some take a nap).

Daryl and his niece Robin decided to go to the Ladson and Billie Worley reunion at the last minute and headed to Arkansas in her Prius. It was a quick cheap trip. They left at 3:40 in the morning and stayed the next day and came home the following day. The "K" Girls performed for everyone and we had a good time seeing each other.
