Our family reunion this year was different in several ways. This was our first reunion without David. Roxana was concerned because her house was in need of maintenance. David had been ill for several months before he died and was not able to keep up with the work and she has a torn rotator cuff and is not able to do a lot of things. In fact she had surgery on Wednesday before we came on Friday. We congregated in Conway, Arkansas and worked on the house while we visited. Rox was in a lot of pain, but she had made several lists for us to follow. We were able to clean out her garage, repair the fence, clean out the flower beds and paint most of the inside of her house. I was in charge of all of the meals, which turned out to be a full time job. It was good to see everyone and good that we could help out Rox. Greerson and I headed home Sunday afternoon.
Our second batch of Barn Swallow babies were ready to fly just before we left these three were not too sure about flying
These two swallows took the plunge and learned to fly and were waiting on their siblings to join them.
