October came to an abrupt halt the 29th. Daryl went into the hospital for gastric bypass surgery to correct several of his health issues. He was in the hospital for four days. He went in on Tuesday and got out on Friday. Christa's parents came and helped out with Greerson that week then returned the following week to take care of Daryl and Greerson. Christa had training in Dallas the next week. As of today Daryl has lost 38 lbs in about two and a half weeks. His diet is comprised of soft foods and pureed foods. He can only eat about 2 ounces at a meal. He is doing well, but still has a little soreness in the abdominal area.
Greerson is staying busy with the high school band. The football team won district so they have their first playoff game today. They were supposed to play in Corsicana, but a fire at the stadium caused them to move it to Midlothian at the last minute. They are playing Mansfield. He is adapting to high school pretty well, but some of his class grades could stand to be raised a bit.
Christa is hot on the audit trail traveling this month. We are all hoping to go to the ranch for Thanksgiving.
