Katy's pressed flowers along with a lamp of Grandma Pats
These flowers were taken from Grandma Pat's funeral to create this.

Today was the first Christmas at Grandma Pat's that she didn't attend. In fact it wasn't technically at her house either. We met at Christa's parent's house for lunch and for the kids to open their presents. It was great to see everyone. It was a little sad since Grandma Pat passed away last April, but we also felt like it was a way of remembering her through getting together. We had BBQ from Blue Moon BBQ that was delicious. Two of Christa's cousins weren't able to be there. Katy Franks made the most awesome gift for everyone. She took flowers from the funeral and pressed them and then made pictures with them and framed them. They were a very touching remembrance of Grandma Pat.
