Friday after Christmas we loaded up the car and headed north to Oklahoma for the weekend. We had an uneventful trip and arrived in Tulsa at the hotel about 4:30 and made it to Steve and Carol's house a little after 5:00. We had pizza for dinner with Steve, Carol, Rachel, Jessie and his girlfriend Andrea. After dinner we played a Sequence. Andrea and Daryl dominated the first game as a team, then we mixed it up and Jessie and Andrea dominated the second game, (notice the common denominator on the winning team). After Sequence we played Mexican Train until about 11:00pm when Sheryl and Bob arrived. Saturday we headed to Jenks to go antiquing. Greerson found some coins and Sheryl found some fruit bowls. After our shopping excursion we headed back to the house and had Mexican Salad. Then it was naptime for some and shopping time again for others. Sheryl, Bob and Daryl headed to Walmart to get Bob's medicine and then on to the AT&T store to activate Bob's new Iphone. Since Starbucks was in the shopping center we had to stop in for coffee and lattes. When we returned home Steve had prepared an awesome Mexican casserole (to continue the Mexican theme). It was delicious and provided the strength to play Mexican Train for the rest of the evening. We got up Sunday morning and visited for a bit at Steve's then headed to IHOP for breakfast. We left after breakfast, but Sheryl and Bob stayed for a few more hours. It was great to see everyone even if it was a short visit!

We headed to lunch with Woody's family the day after Christmas. Rhetta started us off with a fun game answering questions about the Christmas carols. After that the children opened their presents and we ate a nice lunch and visited for awhile. After lunch we packed up to head home, but decided to run by Greg Hodges to check out his colts. The kids had a great time in fact I think Marshall thought he was at the zoo. After a short visit we headed back to Waco to regroup before going to visit the Worley family.

Christmas was a fun day at the ranch! We got up and took our family photo, then put lunch together and waited for everyone to arrive. We enjoyed a great feast then exchanged presents. This year featured a genuine frog leather purse and beaver claw necklace and beaver claw backscratcher. Christa ended up with the frog purse and Greg got the beaver claw accessories for Darlene. Most of the women were not amused with the beaver claw necklace. After a relaxing afternoon Christa and Greerson had prepared a chicken to deep fry. Daryl managed the fryer outside and fried up a chicken and a half for dinner. Then we dropped in some fried pickles to round out the meal. After dinner we played Mexican Train. It was a miserable game (for those that lost), but we all had fun playing together.
