Friday after Christmas we loaded up the car and headed north to Oklahoma for the weekend. We had an uneventful trip and arrived in Tulsa at the hotel about 4:30 and made it to Steve and Carol's house a little after 5:00. We had pizza for dinner with Steve, Carol, Rachel, Jessie and his girlfriend Andrea. After dinner we played a Sequence. Andrea and Daryl dominated the first game as a team, then we mixed it up and Jessie and Andrea dominated the second game, (notice the common denominator on the winning team). After Sequence we played Mexican Train until about 11:00pm when Sheryl and Bob arrived. Saturday we headed to Jenks to go antiquing. Greerson found some coins and Sheryl found some fruit bowls. After our shopping excursion we headed back to the house and had Mexican Salad. Then it was naptime for some and shopping time again for others. Sheryl, Bob and Daryl headed to Walmart to get Bob's medicine and then on to the AT&T store to activate Bob's new Iphone. Since Starbucks was in the shopping center we had to stop in for coffee and lattes. When we returned home Steve had prepared an awesome Mexican casserole (to continue the Mexican theme). It was delicious and provided the strength to play Mexican Train for the rest of the evening. We got up Sunday morning and visited for a bit at Steve's then headed to IHOP for breakfast. We left after breakfast, but Sheryl and Bob stayed for a few more hours. It was great to see everyone even if it was a short visit!
