Quick Trip to Arkansas

After Christmas we planned an impromptu Worley gathering at Daryl's oldest brother David's house. Just before Christmas we learned that David had liver cancer. We had a great visit and got to pray together for David. It was great to see the entire family. We had not all been together since July. David introduced us to the game of Farkle. We had fun playing. Greerson enjoyed visiting with his cousins. We actually got to see snow up there. It had snowed for Christmas in Arkansas and we got to experience it while we were there. It sure was cold! We got huge news while we were there. We went over to visit Rox's mother and Dad and while we were there we saw a letter mentioning a Galloway as a relative. It turns out that Rox is our cousin through her Dad. We had suspected this for a long time because we had some Wises in the family tree, but now we have proved it. I don't think Angie was too thrilled to find out that Her parents were cousins and that I am not only her uncle, but her cousin as well!  We came home in time for New Years and Greerson headed off to camp with the Boy Scouts at Philmont in New Mexico. They also got to ski while they were there. He was gone for a week and came back just in time to start school.
