B.O.B. Games and BBQ at the Ranch

We hosted Troop 377 at the ranch for the B.O.B. (Best of the Best) games. They camped in the backyard and played all sorts of games. Saturday night we had BBQ and enjoyed dinner together. Daryl cooked meals for the adults all weekend as well as the BBQ. The meat for the BBQ came from Blue Moon BBQ and was great. We all had a great time and are looking forward to next years B.O.B. games.

Dust storm in Casa Grande, Arizona

We left the funeral and headed south and happened to stop for gas which saved our lives. If we had kept going we would have been involved in a twenty to thirty car pileup in a dust storm. Even after we got past the accident scene we had a couple of instances where the dust created an absolute zero visibility at 75 miles an hour. We couldn't even see the front end of our car it was so bad. These pictures are from the accident scene.

A.T. Worley's funeral was a very nice service. We sang hymns like when we were children at family gatherings and there was a nice video tribute. We were surprised find out he fought in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. We didn't go to the graveside service since it was in Phoenix and we needed to head for Texas.
